Meet The Team

Ulrich Salzgeber - ABR, Broker Associate A native of Colorado and raised, along with my three sisters, by Swiss parents, I moved to Steamboat in 1977 with my lovely wife Janet. We are blessed with two great daughters, Elisabeth and Anya. We owned, operated and lived at Ski Town Campground for eleven years. Upon the sale of the Campground in 1988 I was offered the position of General Manager for Alpine Taxi Limo Inc., where we transformed a fledgling company with six vehicles and lots of debt to the fourth largest transportation company in the State. In 2004 Alpine Taxi sold and, although I was offered the same position with the new ownership, I decided to open up a new chapter on my life. Real Estate was intriguing to me in being able to help people realize a dream by owning property in this great ski town. I relish the relationships that I am able to form with my clients and look forward to continuing on in this profession well into the future I have always held a strong belief that it is a responsibility and duty to be involved in the Community and Associations in which you belong. Following is just a brief list of committees on which I serve or have served along with countless numbers of sub-committees and panels; 1987-1988 President Colorado Campground Assoc, 1989-1990 President Optimist Club of Steamboat Springs, 1992-2007 Board of Directors Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Assn., 2001-2002 President Board of Directors Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Assn., 1993-2001 Yampa Valley Regional Airport Advisory Committee, 1998-2001 Chairman of Yampa Valley Airport Committee, 2001-2007 member of the Routt County Airport Commission, 2007-Present Steamboat Springs Board or REALTORS, 2009-2010 President Steamboat Springs Board of REALTORS, 2010 REALTOR of the year, 2012 President National Association of Exclusive Buyer's Agents. I believe that the relationships and insight that these positions have afforded me allow me to bring a unique perspective to my profession and give my clients a distinct advantage.
