Mary Labor - Owner/ Office Manager As co-owner of Buyer's Resource and Office Manager, Mary brings to the office a wide range of skills and experience to keep things running smoothly. Mary grew up in central Wisconsin, and earned a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin. After spending college summers employed at Glacier National Park, MT, she realized the Rockies would be her home, someday. She moved to Copper Mountain, CO "just for the winter" in 1985, and began working in the Lodging Department at Copper Mountain Resort. Over the next 6 years Mary continued her career as the resort's Reservations Manager and then as systems analyst in the resort's IT Department. Upon relocating to Whitefish, MT in 1993 she worked with well-known financial newsletter editor, Jim Stack of InvesTech Research in the research and production of a monthly investment newsletter. In 1995, Mary became the Account Administrator for the newly formed portfolio management company, Stack Financial Management. In 1997 the Labor Family (now 3 children strong) had the good fortune of moving to beautiful Steamboat Springs and the privilege of starting their own business. Not only does this allow her to enjoy the many hats of owning a business, but also to keep a constant watch over her "better half" at Buyer's Resource Real Estate!
